Teaching Current Events

The world is constantly changing so it is never too difficult to find current events to  use as examples for whatever you may be teaching about. One of the civic virtues that is associated with just about any social studies class is the need to stay informed with world events. As with any time you are looking at the news it is helpful to get a number of different perspectives and views of the same events. As social studies teachers it is also important to provide objective perspectives of different events and letting the students form opinions of their own. Located in order below you can find the following items:
